This is the complete workflow for a recording from turntable to archive copy. You will probably want to do some shortcuts and adapt the flow for your needs. In the last section I will describe a number of shortcuts.

Phase 1 – Do the recording
Phase 2 – Clean out clicks and other noise
Phase 3 – Split into tracks and convert to playback formats
Phase 4 – Import to your music server and add album art
